Regular guest at the Operas of Berlin, Geneva, Stockholm, Frankfurt, Oslo, London, Munich and Hamburg,Stefan Blunier conducts the best orchestras in South America, Japan, Taiwan and Korea as well as in all European countries. Permanent guest conductor of the Belgian National Orchestra, then Principal Conductor of the Bonn Opera, which led him to international fame thanks to the numerous prizes and awards received for his recordings of little-known works in the repertoire. Since 2021, Stefan has been principal conductor of the Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto Casa da Música. In addition to his duties in Porto, during the 2022/23 season he will conduct the Lille National Orchestra, the Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra and the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.
